developing resilienceI wanted to introduce you to Bob Jackson, our new Northeast Manager in charge of business development for the Mental Toughness Academy.

We talk a lot about resilience in sports as the cornerstone of mental toughness. Resilience means being able to bounce back from losses and difficult experiences.

Resilience is getting back on track quickly when things don’t go your way.

The 1980 US Men’s Olympic hockey team is a perfect example of this resilience and was the team that the movie Miracle was based on. The team is often called the “Miracle On Ice” team.

In the interview below, Bob interviews the captain of the team, Mike Eruzione who talks about mental toughness and coming back after getting “shellacked” by the Russian team 10 days before.

There is a powerful lesson on resilience here for you.
